Reverse Phone Lookup is a process of gathering user information. Traditionally, people acquired extra information simply by providing the name and address of a given person or company. Reverse Phone Lookup is the opposite of that; just by providing a phone number, you can find user name, address and other relevant details.

A number of sites offer this service. Google’s reverse phone lookup is popular which can be attributed to their fast, efficient and of course, free services. There are phone service provides like AT&T which also provide quick and reliable services in this regard. A quick search online will also produce a number of free sites which offer the service on a smaller scale.

This type of search is typically limited to land-lines. While there are websites that can be utilized to reverse lookup cell numbers, all of them are paid sites. To this effect, there are also fewer sites that offer this process for cell numbers in comparison to the number of sites that provide the service for land-lines.
